McG Prep’s main goal is to help students and families have choices when it comes to getting into schools. We want you to have a score that enables you to apply to a wide range of schools, and when those acceptances and scholarships (hopefully) roll in, we want you to have the opportunity to attend the right school for you at a price you can afford. That’s it.
Over the years, Andrew has developed “The McG Method”, which goes beyond teaching “tricks and tools” to help students truly understand what the questions are asking, how to find the answer in the often-confusing text or work through the complicated problem, and then how to recognize the wrong answers. Students master the method and the content on the test through classwork, homework, and proctored practice tests, resulting in their best possible score on test day.
Oh, and here’s a secret about Andrew: he didn’t get a perfect score on the SAT or ACT back in high school. He did well, but nowhere near perfect. And that’s why he understands the struggles students face on these exams. He understands people who aren’t necessarily naturals at these exams, and he knows how to help everybody achieve their personal best.
